The short answer
- Very few crypto cards have a real issuance promo code, meaning a string that cuts the price of the card. RedotPay is the clear one: REDOT takes the virtual Visa from $10 to about $8, and REDOTCODE takes the physical card from $100 to about $80.
- Most other "codes" are referral links or invite codes. They mark you as referred when you sign up, and the reward, if any, is whatever the issuer's live programme pays.
- Big exchanges (Bybit, OKX, Crypto.com, MEXC) mostly run welcome offers with no code. Anyone who sells you a "code" for those is selling a referral link.
- A Visa card promo code in the everyday sense, like Visa Offers + Perks, is a merchant discount for paying with any Visa card. That's a different thing from a code for getting a crypto Visa card.
Three kinds of "promo code" on crypto cards
| Kind | Where you enter it | What changes | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Issuance promo code | Card checkout, before paying the card fee | The card price drops on screen | RedotPay REDOT / REDOTCODE |
| Referral / invite code | Sign-up or account opening, often only then | You're tagged as referred; rewards follow the issuer's rules | RedotPay b30wr, ether.fi, ZA Bank, Binance links |
| Welcome offer | Nowhere: you opt in or simply qualify | Cashback or token bonus after you meet spend or top-up rules | Bybit Card, OKX Card, Crypto.com, MEXC Card |
The quickest test for an issuance code is the checkout screen. If the price doesn't move before you pay, the code didn't apply. Don't pay and hope support fixes it later.

Where we write "Card via …" we haven't confirmed the network for every region, so check the issuer's page. Offers listed without links to us are there so you can compare them, not because they pay us.
"Visa card promo code" usually means Visa Offers
If you searched for a Visa card promo code to save at an airline, hotel or shop, you want Visa's own offers programme. Codes there are published per merchant and region, and they work with any eligible Visa card, including a crypto-funded one like RedotPay or ZA Card, as long as the merchant accepts it and the card is issued in an eligible region. Visa lists them at visa.com/offers, and regional Visa sites have their own pages.
Paying with a crypto card doesn't stop a merchant code from working. But crypto cards usually add a conversion fee (RedotPay lists 1%) and an FX fee when the merchant charges in another currency (1.2%), so check that the discount is bigger than those costs.
How to pick, in one minute
- Can you get the card where you live?
RedotPay excludes some countries (including the US, India, mainland China and Singapore). ZA Bank is Hong Kong only. Binance's card is region-limited. Rule these out first.
- Does the code change a fee you'd actually pay?
A 20% issuance code saves about $2 on a virtual card. Over a year, FX and conversion fees usually cost more than that, so compare the ongoing costs.
- Is it a code or a referral?
Referral rewards depend on the issuer's live programme and usually need a spend or deposit. Read the conditions before treating it as free money.
Frequently asked questions
Do crypto Visa cards have promo codes?
Some do. RedotPay has real issuance discounts: REDOT (virtual, $10 → ~$8) and REDOTCODE (physical, $100 → ~$80). Most others use referral links or welcome offers with no code.
Is a Visa Offers promo code the same as a crypto card promo code?
No. Visa Offers codes are merchant discounts for paying with an eligible Visa card. A crypto card code lowers the cost of getting the card, or tags you as referred at sign-up.
What is the best crypto card promo code in October 2026?
For a straight fee cut, RedotPay's REDOT and REDOTCODE (20% off issuance). For bigger rewards with no code, look at Bybit, OKX or Crypto.com's official welcome offers, which need spend or top-ups.
Can I stack a referral code and a promo code?
On RedotPay, yes: b30wr at registration, then REDOT or REDOTCODE at card checkout. You can't stack two promo codes on one card order.
